Garry L. Founds has practiced business and corporate law for over 16 years. Garry brings to this practice a broad knowledge of legal and business issues and a keen attention to detail, but he also brings a uniquely creative element. Garry enjoys finding inventive solutions to legal and business issues facing his clients.

Gary’s practice involves a number of business-related fields, including business formation and organization, sales and acquisitions, mergers, financing and commercial lending, business capitalization and investments, private debt and equity issues, real estate development, real estate management, commercial real estate leasing and financing, copyright and trademark registration in disputes, intellectual property licensing, confidentiality and nondisclosure issues, employment law, general contract negotiation and drafting, corporate and business governance, and other general business and corporate matters.

Garry represents a wide range of business clients, including small start-up organizations, real estate holding companies, individual consultants and contractors, local professionals, and both small and large manufacturing and service companies.

Garry is also a trained mediator and is listed on the Indiana Registry of Approved Court Mediators. His experience with a broad range of real estate, corporate, probate, intellectual property, and general business issues is rather unique among mediators. The patience, tact, adaptability, perseverance, and creativity required for success in negotiating and closing transactions are also essential traits for facilitating a successful mediation. Garry brings this uncommon collection of traits and skills, honed during 16 years of practice, to his role as a mediator.

Garry works primarily from the Bloomington office of Mallor Grodner LLP, but he also is available to meet clients in the Indianapolis office. Garry practiced law for three years in Indianapolis before joining Mallor Clendening Grodner & Bohrer LLP in 2003. Garry is now a partner with Mallor Grodner LLP. When not practicing law, Garry enjoys playing guitar and pursuing independent business ventures.
