On September 17, 2016, Amy L. Stewart was a speaker at the Annual Conference of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), held recently in Indianapolis. Stewart’s presentation, “Utilizing Marriage and Family Therapists in the Collaborative Divorce Process,” highlighted Collaborative Practice, a respectful out-of-court alternative for resolving divorce and other family conflict. Collaborative Practice currently is offered in twenty-four countries worldwide, and Stewart has been a leader in introducing the healthy, positive approach in Indiana. She recently was the only Indiana attorney named to Best Lawyers in America in the area of Collaborative Law. Stewart was joined at the AAMFT conference by fellow Indiana Collaborative professionals Valerie Brennan, CPA, PFS, Bart Ferraro, Ph.D., HSPP, Jessica Gahl, JD, and William Steele, Ph.D., LMFT. Stewart is a member of Mallor Grodner’s family law team and represents clients throughout Indiana. For additional information on Collaborative Practice, click here.
