Tiffany Coleman and Jenna Heavner, attorneys in Mallor Grodner LLP’s family law division, recently completed a comprehensive two-day training in Collaborative Practice provided by a partnership between the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF), in Indianapolis. Taught by a highly experienced interdisciplinary team, the training focused on the skill sets of legal, mental health, and financial professionals and the integration of those skills in the collaborative process. Collaborative practice is an approach for resolving divorce and other family legal issues that empowers the parties to work with one another through a respectful process of negotiation, rather than through the courts, to make decisions about their futures.
Mallor Grodner attorneys were instrumental in introducing collaborative practice in Indiana and are recognized as leaders in collaborative practice. The firm’s collaborative team, now including Tiffany and Jenna, is committed to offering the highest quality collaborative experience to our clients.
Tiffany concentrates her practice primarily in family law and is a Registered Domestic Relations Mediator. She enjoys the firm’s team approach to meeting client needs, which offers opportunities for inter-departmental collaboration.
Jenna also concentrates her practice primarily in family law. She enjoys the challenge of assisting individuals and families with children in conflict by being a compassionate advocate and advancing client needs with a comprehensive approach to the practice of family law.
