Tim earned his J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, in 2003. He sat as the Juvenile Law Judge (Referee) in Lawrence County, presiding over paternity, custody, child support, protective order, and CHINS cases. From 2008 to 2014, he served as the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Lawrence County and was in a courtroom almost every day, advocating, arguing, and litigating a wide variety of cases.
Tim is a registered family law mediator who has mediated close to 300 cases using patience, creativity, effective communication, and a ‘stay in the fight’ attitude to help parties come to an agreed resolution of their legal issues. He believes in helping clients craft the outcome of their cases, and mediation is a great tool for doing this and avoiding the risks of the courtroom.
Mallor Grodner is proud to be home to several of Indiana’s most skilled and sought-after mediators and collaborative law practitioners: Andrew Mallor, Kendra Gjerdingen, Dustin Plummer, Carrie Batalon, Amy Stewart, and Lisa Anderson in family law; Mike Allen and Garry Founds in civil mediation.
Tim can be reached in our Bloomington office.
