D. Michael (“Mike”) Allen, a partner at Mallor Grodner LLP, was recently interviewed by The Indiana Lawyer for an article regarding cybersecurity and Indiana University’s Cybersecurity Risk Management degree and certificate programs.
Mike’s increasing experience helping clients with data protection compliance, cyberattacks, and losses as a result of online scams led him to pursue a degree from IU’s cybersecurity master’s program. Having completed about half of his coursework, Mike has been able to use what he has learned to assist clients in his law practice. One of his associates at Mallor Grodner, Colleen Newbill, is one of only six graduates of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s joint J.D./cybersecurity master’s program.
