Erick T. Gjerdingen represents individuals and organizations in a wide range of business law matters, including advocating in litigation and appeals and advising in transactions.  Erick has spent much of his career representing clients in commercial reorganization and creditor-debtor matters across a variety of industries.  He enjoys learning the nuances of clients’ needs and tailoring effective legal strategies based on factors ranging from corporate operations and culture, relationships with vendors, employees, and regulatory agencies, and the goals of equity stakeholders.

Erick’s representative clients include: Members of Congress; financial institutions; casinos, hotels, and tourist resorts; construction companies; airlines and related entities; breweries; liquidating trusts and creditors’ committees; Ponzi-scheme victims and fraudulent transfer defendants; artists and athletes; high net worth individuals and private clients; and non-profit and religious organizations.

Erick is admitted in both Indiana and Nevada and spent much of his career practicing in Las Vegas before returning home to Indiana.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, he served as a faculty member at a major public university in Thailand.  Erick received his law degree from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law and has additional degrees from Harvard University and Carleton College.
