Mike Shanahan is an attorney in Mallor Grodner LLP’s business and professional practice services division, focusing his practice primarily in automotive dealership law.
Mike has experience in nearly every area of automotive law and primarily represents automotive dealerships. He has represented automotive dealers in incentive and warranty matters, Internal Revenue Service audits, and various attorney general complaints and actions, including document fee and spot delivery matters. Mike also handles regulatory matters such as title affidavit, plate log, title delivery and interim plate concerns. He also assists automotive dealers with litigation matters and state licensing issues before the Dealer Services Division of the Indiana Secretary of State.
Mike also provides counsel to business clients in business entity formations, acquisitions and sales, real estate matters, and financial matters, as well as general business counsel.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and then earned his JD from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, in 2007, where he was a Chancellor’s Scholar. He served in the United States Air Force and is a recipient of the National Defense Medal. Mike previously represented the Automobile Dealers Association of Indiana and the Indianapolis Automobile Trade Association. He is a member of the National Association of Dealer Counsel.
